Dyoll spreads its wings in MoBay
DYOLL insurance is banking on the opening of its new customer service centre in Montego Bay to boost the amount of business it gets from the western end of the island.
“Expansion at this time is all part of our company’s new thrust to be more service-oriented as well as to grow and strengthen our business,” said CEO Stephen Thwaites. “The west contributes 15 percent to our gross premium income and we anticipate that with offices in this area this figure may increase.”
The company’s gross premium income for last year was $813-million.
With its thrust to find new ways to become more accessible to its customers, Dyoll opened a similar facility in Mandeville in August. The newest customer service centre is centrally located in the Baywest Shopping Centre in Montego Bay.
Thwaites contended that the changing economic environment and the accompanying challenges demand greater accessibility to clients.
“We must also become more innovative and creative in terms of the products and services that we provide. This is all part of Dyoll’s attempt to rise to these challenges,” he added.
Recognising that the “one size fits all” approach to customer service is no longer applicable, Dyoll has attempted to structure its packages to meet the needs of its clients. For example, one flexible policy being offered to young professionals is Dyoll Blue, launched in July. According to Thwaites, it is the first among a number of new items that will be on the market soon.
Dyoll Insurance Company Ltd offers the full range of property, liability, motor and marine insurance coverage. Its policies are marketed across the island through its agents and brokers, its customer service centres, as well as directly through its Knutsford Boulevard headquarters in Kingston.
