Man’s body found in trunk of car
LUCAN Clarke, alias “Tallis”, 32, who was said to be a part of the infamous Joel Andem Gang, was yesterday found in the trunk of a Toyota Corolla motor car at Clock Tower Plaza in Half-Way-Tree with bullet wounds to the body.
The body was tucked in a black leatherette bag. Police suspect that he was killed by one of his cronies.
The gruesome discovery was made shortly after 6:15 in the morning, when persons going about their business reportedly became suspicious of the motor car, licensed 3721 DY, which was parked in the busy shopping plaza, and called the police.
The police say that Clarke had a case before the courts on gun-related charges.
“The man body stuff inna one a dem big bag deh whe higgler use, the one dem wha deh pan wheel. The blood smell raw,” reported a man who claimed to have been at the scene when the discovery was made.
Clarke’s body was clad in a black pants, white shirt and brown shoes.
