Jamaica Observer opens new offices in MoBay
MONTEGO BAY, St James – The Jamaica Observer this week opened its new western bureau offices along East Street Montego Bay. It is a move for which Leroy Reid, second vice president of the city’s chamber of commerce and industry, has lauded the more than 12 year- old newspaper.
“This development cements your commitment to western Jamaica and will of a certainty improve the functioning of the press in this part of the island,” he said at the official opening of the new offices along 6 East Street in the resort town.
“The Jamaica Observer’s entrenchment in Montego Bay through the establishment of this office will, I am sure, foster the continued improvement in the functioning of free press as an enabler of national development in Jamaica land we love.”
