Reid re-elected to head MoBay Chamber
Pauline Reid, the first female president of the Montego Bay Chamber of Industry and Commerce, was re-elected to serve a second year at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) last Thursday.
The uncontroversial exercise which saw Reid taking the top post unoppposed, also saw a number of new additions in the form of past directors and members to the team.
“We will continue with what we started last year in terms of our objective to propel the city of Montego Bay to its rightful position as the country’s main gateway to tourism which contributes significantly to our economy.
Additionally, we will focus on developmental plans for the western region,” she said.
