Star International make domino semis

Star International became the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of the Maranjo Security-sponsored Western Domino League on Sunday after beating Deeside Untouchables 300-295 in their Zone A return- round game.
The win pushed Star International to 52 points, well clear of the field to ensure their place in the top four play-offs.
Uptown are on 42 points with a game to be played after beating Rainbow Strikers 300-250 while Fighter Jets are on 36 points with two games to go.
Assassin are also in with a chance to join Star International in the semi-final and are on 28 points with three games to go.
Three teams are vying for the two spots from Zone B led by Tuff Gong on 49 points after winning all seven games so far with one game to go; Strike Force on 38 points with two games to be played and Intouch on 30 points and three games to be played.
In games played in Zone B last Sunday, Strike Force beat High Grade 300-251; Dynasty were 300-268 winners over Dragon Force while Unity Strikers edged Hypnotiq 300-292.
