I took him in to the police. Next thing I know they stuck a murder charge on him and imprisoned him. They said he escaped custody, on his way to court, but he called and told me that the police let him go. I believe he was telling the truth because how could he get out of a big secure truck like that unless soeone let him out?

He was killed by the police in Jackson Town on December 1 last year.

Killed and thrown out in the street. Where is the justice in that?

Yes, he may have been a bad person, but he submitted to the authorities.

Why didn’t they take him in?

My other son, Richard Minto, 21, used to sell phone cards in Montego Bay.

He died at the hand of gunmen on August 17, 2008.

Nobody has been arrested for that. Why?
