Tropical Rhythms make domino semis
St James’ Tropical Rhythms on Sunday defeated Hanover’s High Grade (300 -293) to become the third team to advance to the Maranjo Security-sponsored Division 1 semi-finals next month.
The other teams – Uptown from St James and Trelawny’s Deeside Untouchables – trounced Hanover’s Hypnotiq and Westmoreland’s Intouch respectively the week before.
The final quarter-finals of the competition will be played this Sunday between Zone A’s fourth-placed Star International and Zone B’s fifth-placed Unity Strikers at 46 Jarret Street starting at 1:30 pm.
The winner of that match will play Deeside in the semi-finals on April 19, while Uptown will play Tropical Rhythms on April 12.
