10-month-old killed in motor vehicle accident
HAGUE, Trelawny – A 10-month-old infant died in a motor vehicle accident involving a truck and a car yesterday morning along a section of the North Coast Highway which passes through Hague district, Trelawny.
The dead toddler has been identified as Alanis Reynolds of a Braeton, Portmore, St Catherine address.
The toddler’s parents, Tyrone Reynolds – who was driving the ill-fated motor car – and Tedine Morris, who was seated in the front passenger seat at the time of the accident, were treated at the Falmouth Hospital and released.
Meanwhile, the Falmouth Police have since arrested and charged the driver of the truck, 26-year-old Isher Hyman of Green Acres, St Catherine, with causing death by dangerous driving.
