THREE teams are tied atop the Claro/KSAFA Super League standings on 28 points following the 13th round of games yesterday.

Rae Town, however, are ahead on goal difference, followed by Cavalier and Santos.

Cavalier, who led the table coming into the round, drew 1-1 with JDF; Rae Town slammed Meadhaven 5-0, and Santos scored a 2-1 win over Duhaney Park.

In other matches, Mountan View blanked Maverley/Hughenden 4-0; Bull Bay and Barbican drew 1-1, and Real Mona beat Constant Spring, 2-1.

At Up Park Camp, Julian Nugent gave visiting Cavalier the lead with a well-taken strike on the stroke of half-time after wasting numerous chances.

However, Robert Wright equalised for the home team after 59 minutes for the soidiers to share the points.

At Bell/Chung Oval, Santos went ahead courtesy of Fabian Nethersole after 14 minutes, but goalkeeper Omar Williams levelled the score for Duhaney Park from the penalty spot in the 21st minute.

Peter Gordon struck to restore the home team’s lead in the 36th, and that was how it stayed until the end.

Rae Town were easy winners against relegation fighters Meadhaven at Michigan Oval following Damion Jackson’s (10th, 16th, 43rd & 65th) four-timer and James Durrant’s strike in their rout of the former Premier League club.

Meanwhile, Mountain View jumped two places above JDF and Constant Spring after their win over bottom-of-the-table Maverley at Maverley Park.

Kevin Blair, Ricardo Reid, Troyland Williams and Glendon Johnson were the scorers for Mountain View, who led 1-0 at half-time.

Constant Spring failed to keep pace with the leaders after they went down 1-2 against Real Mona, who moved further away from relegation trouble with the three points.

Real Mona scored through Michael Mitchell (42nd) and Leroux Lothian (64th), while Romario Wright scored the loser’s consolation at Buttercup Park.

At Bull Pen, Adrian Harrison’s 59th-minute strike cancelled out Troy Clue’s 27th-minute effort for visiting Barbican.

Trailing behind the frontrunners in the standings are Mountain View with 22 points, followed by Constant Spring and JDF with 21 each.

Real Mona are next with 17, then Barbican with 16, Bull Bay 11, Duhaney Park seven, Meadhaven six and Maverley three.
