‘Herbert’, CC seek national b-ball title

‘Herbert’, CC seek national b-ball title

MONTEGO BAY, St James — Western schools, led by champions Herbert Morrison and Cornwall College, will start their quest for a first-ever national title today as the ISSA/KFC high school basketball play-offs get underway with games at three venues.

Herbert Morrison, the Western Conference Under-19 champions and Cornwall College, the Under-16 champions, will open the play-offs at the Montego Bay Cricket Club against Munro College in both games.

Western Conference runners-up Mannings School in the Under-19 and Herbert Morrison High in the Under-16 are the other schools that will take part.

Mannings will start their play-off on Saturday away to Calabar High, while Herbert Morrison will host Jamaica College next Monday.
