MATTHEW 16:13-17: “When Jesus came to the coast of Caesarea, Phillippi, He said to His disciples, who do people say that I the Son of man am? Well they replied, some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah and others say Jeremiah or one of the prophets. Then He asked them, who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered; You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus replied, you are blessed, Simon, because My Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.”

When Jesus Christ is classified as someone other than the anointed Son of God, this by no means alters the truth as to who He is. In receiving the revelation of the truth given by the Spirit of God, our understanding becomes enlightened; our Father will then begin a progressive work in us that will lead to the prosperity of our souls (mind, will and emotion). Our minds will be renewed to that of the mind of Christ, filled with love, righteousness, peace and wisdom. Our will and emotions will be submitted and be in obedience to the word of God. We will receive Godly direction and guidance keeping us in perfect peace and safety.

We will progressively grow into the full knowledge of Jesus Christ and be effective and functional members of the body of Christ with Him being the head of all things to the body. With this enlightened understanding of Christ, our utmost desire will be to develop a progressive intimate relationship with Him and to never again be confused as to His true identity.

Eternal Father, we pray that You would by Your Spirit reveal to this nation, Your Son Jesus Christ. We pray that the knowledge and glory of Jesus Christ will fill this land as the waters cover the sea. With repentant hearts we pray: Come heal our land.
