Supreme Ventures Sports Betting releases FIFA World Cup odds for JustBet game

As the pre-World Cup fever consumes the country, Supreme Ventures Sports Betting, through its recently launched sports betting game, JustBet, has released their odds for the tournament.

The odds are published in the JustBet bi-weekly betting programme available to the public, through the company’s sports betting locations across the island and website, and features odds for all 32 teams competing in the world’s greatest football showcase.

The odds for the JustBet game has European champions Spain as the favourite with odds of 4.75 (meaning that a bettor placing a $1,000 bet on Spain, would win $4,750 from JustBet if Spain were to go on and win the World Cup). Other teams highly favoured by JustBet to take home the trophy are: Brazil at odds of 5.50, England at odds of 6.00, Argentina at odds of 7.50, Germany at odds of 12.50, and defending champions Italy, at odds of 12.50. From CONCACAF, both the USA and Mexico are at odds of 75.00. JustBet’s longest shot to win the tournament is New Zealand, at odds of 1000.00.

“As of this moment, you can walk into any of our Supreme Ventures Sports Betting locations and place your wager starting at $50, on which team you think will win the World Cup,” explained Sonia Davidson, VP of Group Corporate Communications at Supreme Ventures.

“So for us at JustBet, World Cup fever is well and truly here! In addition, we have a full slate of World Cup related marketing and promotional activities to complement our betting offering, so football fans have plenty to look out for this summer,” Davidson said.

In addition to offering odds on the winner of the overall tournament, JustBet will offer odds on which team will win each zone, and of course, odds on each match in the group and knockout phase of the tournament, all the way up to, and including the final on July 11.

“With JustBet, our bettors can rest assured that they are getting good, competitive odds and a wide range of betting options, and that they are participating in a game that is secure, transparent and credible — and of course fun, exciting and rewarding,” Davidson added.

JustBet’s betting calendar also has for the upcoming months: The ICC World Twenty20 and the NBA Play-offs now on, the UEFA Champions League Final on May 22, South Africa’s Tour of the West Indies in June, the IAAF Track and Field season, the remaining major tennis tournaments: French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open, the Formula One Racing season, the 2010-11 International Football season and the 2010 NFL (American Football) season — plus other events such as boxing and major golf tournaments will be added.
