Pathologist
A pathologist is a person that examines dead bodies to determine the cause of death.
For one to become a pathologist it is required that they have passes in English language, chemistry, biology, physics, information technology and mathematics. Dealing with dead bodies may not be one of the coolest things to do in life but this career type is growing. It is also required that one has MBBS and DM in pathology.
For one to excel in this profession, they must not be afraid to take risks and examine human bodies. They should be able to withstand the sight of blood and other internal areas of the body; be able to work under pressure and make important decisions. They should possess good interpersonal and human relations skills.
Also, this profession requires one to have good oral and written communication skills. Persons interested in this career type should be able to work flexible, odd hours and the job is physically challenging. It may require that one travels the world to an extent. One should possess good analytical skills. One should pay attention to details and have good organisational skills. One should also be able to work in unpleasant or hazardous environment.
Persons that are looking at choosing this career can get jobs at ministries and departments of health. You can also open your own pathologist centre as time progresses.
