Looking good is the best revenge: Christina Milian gets back in shape

Like any new mother, Christina Milian is eager to get back into pre-baby shape, and as these new photos show, she is certainly achieving her goal. The 28-year-old was seen working out in a park in Woodland Hills, California with her best friend Loran. She wore an electric blue cat suit with tiny shorts for a jog and some stretching exercises. The tight-fitting outfit showed off a figure that would turn most women who recently gave birth green with envy.

Perhaps more importantly for her, it showed Christina’s estranged husband exactly what he is missing. It has been a rollercoaster year for the R&B singer, first giving birth to daughter Violet Madison Nash on February 26. Then news became public last week that she had split from her husband of ten months, Grammy-winning producer The-Dream. Photographs showed him on an intimate Caribbean holiday with his assistant. However, the images may not have come as much of a shock to Milian as originally thought.

TMZ reported yesterday that The-Dream, real name Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash, actually filed divorce papers nine days before the birth of the couple’s first child. The website has posted images of documents they say were filed in Georgia, and carry a date stamp of February 17, 2010.

Nash states in the documents that the marriage is ‘irretrievably broken’, and that ‘there is no hope for reconciliation’. The R&B mogul wrote an emotional letter on his website last week after the split went public, telling how he tried to commit suicide when he realised his relationship was ending. The-Dream also apologised for not telling fans earlier about the break-up.

Angelina Jolie says she was scarred while filming Salt

She wasn’t computer generated, and she wasn’t even wearing a costume, but that didn’t stop Angelina Jolie, clad in a snug shiny black jacket, from dazzling the crowd at Comic-Con on Thursday afternoon as she promoted her spy action-thriller Salt, which opens next Friday.

The A-list actress tiptoed around fan questions about her mysterious character Evelyn Salt, who may or may not be a Russian spy. ”There’s a real duplicity to her personality…there’s something a little off about her, and maybe there’s something off about me,” she said. Jolie performed her own stunts in Salt and recounted an on-set injury to the audience that left her scarred. She sliced open part of her face just above her nose when tumbling into a doorway with a gun. Jolie said she at first thought she suffered a concussion because she couldn’t hear anything, but later realised she was wearing earplugs. Comic-Con continues at the San Diego Convention Center through Sunday.

Justin Bieber to guest-star on CBS drama CSI

Justin Bieber will guest-star in the upcoming season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. CBS said in a statement on Thursday that Bieber will play ”a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother”. He’ll make his CSI debut on the season premiere scheduled for September 23.

The network did not say how many episodes will include the 16-year-old teen pop sensation, but called his character’s plot line ”an emotional story that will conclude later in the season”.

ABC recently announced that Bieber will also make a cameo in the second season of Shaq Vs. the reality competition series with Shaquille O’Neal. The NBA star will visit Bieber and join him in a dance crew competition.
