What are your earliest memories of Kingston?
Travelling on the JOS bus with my father from our home in Harbour View to my grandfather’s place in Vineyard Town. Also going to Hellshire Beach on a Sunday; watching the UWI carnival parade on my father’s shoulders and going to the antomime and seeing Miss Lou.
What do you miss when you’re not in Kingston?
I miss the entertainment, the people, the diverse nightlife and idyllic Strawberry Hills for Sunday brunch.
Who has been your inspiration?
Several people: Albert Einstein, Marcus Garvey, PJ Patterson, Napoleon and my mother Audrey.
What are your favourite home comforts?
My DVD collection, my iPod (dock and speakers), my seven-year-old son and Kool-Aid.
What would you do if you were mayor (of Kingston) for a day?
I would try to get the street children off the road.

I’m currently doing my Master’s and all I’m reading are books on strategic management… can’t remember any titles, it’s all such a blur.

Hold You by Gyptian.
What was your last bit of retail therapy?
A golf club at Yes, Golf.

Alfred Sung.
What is your preferred beverage?
Kool-Aid, hands down!
What was your most memorable meal in Kingston?
Mutton with garlic naan and roti at Jewel of India in The Marketplace.
What projects are you working on?
Manpower is now expanding the training offerings at the Institute for Workforce Education and Development (IWED) and we also have a placement agency for local as well as international positions.
What upsets you?
The abuse of children.
Name the last three places visited on holiday.
Atlanta, New York and Negril.

Tensing Pen in Negril, a fantastic property; Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in New York and the Atlanta Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
What advice would you give to a first-time visitor to Kingston?
Find a local and let him show you the wonderful places like Bin 26, Medusa’s and Hellshire that all show off Kingston in their own unique ways.

‘It takes all types to make the world go round’, and every person has something to say if only you take the time out to listen.
