D’Park to face Cavalier in KSAFA U-15 final
Duhaney Park came from a goal down to beat Tivoli Gardens 2-1 in the semi-finals of the Claro/KSAFA Under-15 Champions League semi-final at Vauxhall on Thursday.
Tivoli took the lead when Junior Flemming fired them in front after just 12 minutes. However, Javaney Allen equalised for the Omar Williams-coached Duhaney Park with a goal on 31 minutes.
Both teams battled hard in the second-half ,but on the hour, Demar Rose controlled a deflected ball on top of the area and lobbed the advancing Nicholas Clarke to give his team the win.
Duhaney Park will face Cavalier in the final, after the latter also came from a goal down to beat Central Kingston by a similar scoreline to book their spot.
Kyle Butler gave Central Kingston the lead in the 30th minute, but Errol Harvey cancelled his effort five minutes later.
Cavalier snatched the win three minutes from time through a goal from Jamari Thompson.
Cavalier also made it to the Under-13 final after a double from Sheldon McKoy in the 40th and 45th minutes saw them to 2-1 win over Central Kingston. Dominic James netted Central Kingston’s lone goal.
In the other semi-final match-up, Waterhouse edged Real Mona 1-0 on a Dane Johnson’s seventh minute goal.
