La Moss’s swansong: Sneak peek of Kate’s final collection for Topshop

After 14 collections over four years, Kate Moss’s sojourn as a designer has come to an end.

Topshop has given fashion fans a sneak peek at her upcoming final Autumn/Winter 2010 collection for the high street chain, ahead of the designs going on sale next month.

Just like previous Moss designs, the latest collection is inspired by the supermodel’s own style, a mix of Boho-meets-Seventies rock chick.

The new designs include an embroidered black jersey dress with fringe sleeves and a shaggy hooded cardigan.

While Kate’s designing days may be on hold — for now — the 36-year-old shows why she’s still one of the world’s top models as she poses in the sultry black and white shots.

As a few images from the new collection were debuted online, Kate also joined a group of models in a new online video advertisement.

The 53-second video sees Kate playing stylist to models Adwoa Aboah, Cara Delevingne, Genevieve Garner, Rosalyn Holman and Jessica Horton as they try on her new collection in the Topshop Oxford Circus’s Personal Shopping Suite.

Along with Moss’s final collection, Topshop is also releasing Kate Iconic, a capsule collection of her 10 most popular designs.

Looking swell: Pregnant Penelope Cruz enjoys a night out in London with husband Javier Bardem

She’s nearly six months pregnant and is clearly determined to make the most of her last few weeks of freedom.

Instead of sitting at home relaxing, Penelope Cruz decided to enjoy a night on the town in London with husband Javier Bardem and her sister Monica.

The trio visited the exclusive Groucho members’ club for food and drinks before heading home in the early hours of the morning.

Penelope, 36, confirmed last month she is expecting her first child with husband Javier, whom she quietly married in the Caribbean in July.

The couple, who have been friends for nearly 20 years after working together on the Spanish film Jamón, jamón when the actress was just 19, began dating in 2007 as they filmed Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Penelope is currently in London shooting Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides alongside Johnny Depp as the ever-charming Captain Jack Sparrow.

Do you want muscles like Madonna? Singer plans international chain of gyms

Material girl Madonna is planning to expand her empire by opening a chain of fitness centres around the world.

The 52-year-old, who is known for her toned physique, plans on calling the gyms Hard Candy Fitness.

She will help design the fitness centres as well as advise on lighting and music to be played as people work out.

A statement from Hard Candy Fitness said it plans to ‘open in major cities around the world,’ including Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Europe and Asia.

The first gym is planned for Mexico City next month with the singer due to attend its opening.

Madonna has taken the name for the chain of gyms from her 2008 album Hard Candy and is in partnership with her manager Guy Oseary and New Evolution ventures who run a fitness programme called 24-Hour Fitness.

The singer has also recently launched a clothing line with her teenage daughter Lourdes called Material Girl, which is sold exclusively at Macy’s.
