Rain washes out day three of third test

PALLEKELLE, Sri Lanka — The third day’s play of the final cricket test between Sri Lanka and the West Indies was abandoned without a ball being bowled because of rain.
West Indies was to resume its first innings on 244-5 today.
The three-match series stands 0-0 with most of the previous two matches being rained out and a third draw likely.
