Our Fashion Saturday team attended the official opening of Kristina Broderick’s Jewellery boutique located at 24 East King’s House Road. The Fashion Institute of Technology-trained Jamaican jewellery designer, who worked with popular American jeweller Alex Sepkus ahead of her return to Jamaica three years ago, had many raving about her beautiful creations. Today we share a few of those fab finds.

Claudette Cooke

Jewellery designer Kristina Broderick assists customer Claudette Cooke with a to-die-for necklace made of sterling silver and onyx.

Africanglassbead

A variety of hand-made designs such as this gorgeous necklace made of gold and African glass beads are part of Kristina Broderick’s Jewellery collection.

Brazilian agate

This striking cuff, which is made of brass and Brazilian agate will, we’re certain, make the perfect statement.

Hammered brass, Copper

Melanie Forrester, who has been a client of Broderick’s for “quite a few years”, instantly fell in love with these large, diamond-shaped earrings from the Hammered Brass collection, while the copper mesh bracelets pictured at left also caught her eyes.

Portland

This 14-karat gold ring encircled with wood is a part of the designer’s Portland collection, which features wood and gold accessories.

Toy Watch

Kristina Broderick Jewellery Boutique also carries Toy Watch, a brand of timepieces preferred by celebrities like Michelle Obama, first lady of the USA, and Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus.

Unnamed collection

These super-cute rings made of sterling silver and turquoise stones (left) and coral clusters (right) are featured in Broderick’s most recent collection which is yet to be named.
