Max Element is no Heartbreaker
Up and coming dancehall singjay Max Element details the breakup of a relationship in his latest track Hearbreaker. The song was produced by X Ray Records and an accompanying music video was recently directed by Kirk Lee of Road Block Films.
“Hearbreaker is about personal experience that I went through, so I decided to put pen to paper and talk about it in the song,” Max Element said in a release to the media.
So far, the feedback according to Max Element, has been encouraging. The mid tempo track which embodies elements of hip hop and dancehall, has been enjoying steady rotation on local airwaves.
Born Clement Smith, Max Element attended the Camperdown High School in East Kingston. He began his musical journey while attending high school. He honed his talent performing on talent shows and school functions alongside his fellow Camperdown alum Jeffery Campbell (aka Assassin).
His interest in music led to the recording studios. He would later record for producers including Papizzle and DJ Kareem.
He describes his style as cool and deadly. “I am bringing musical etiquette to the game because the music needs some manners,” Max Element said jokingly.
Max Element hopes to make a major impact on the music scene. His most recent recordings include Mongrel Dog, Badda Dan Dem, and Heartbreaker part 2.
Max Element recently performed at the Jamaica Curry Festival which took place at the Turtle River Park in Ocho Rios.
