Pauline Reid wins Claro’s seventh million dollar prize
Pauline Reid is a housewife in St Catherine. Every morning she prepares her son for school, takes care of her home and uses her Claro mobile handset to take care of any business she may have. On December 14, Reid received the fateful call, from Claro’s events and promotions manager, Andrew Balbour, telling her she had won $1million in the ‘Clarorific’ promotion.
“I still cannot believe it! When I got the call I said, to Andrew, how could I have won, I didn’t do anything! Then he reminded me that all I had to do was use my Claro phone. I received many follow up calls and I believed, I cannot wait to hold that cheque,” Reid said.
She is the seventh winner in the weekly ‘Clarorific’ Christmas promotion. As a mother of five, this million dollars means quite a bit, her plans include investing in a fixed deposit and hopefully buying a car.
The ‘Clarorific’ Christmas campaign offers a total of $20 million in cash prize to Claro subscribers. There will be ten weekly winners of $1million and one mega-prize winner of $10 million.
All Claro subscribers are eligible, with each minute of billable talk time providing one automatic entry — the more they talk is the more chances they have to win. There are only three winners left to be selected in the million dollar promotion. One person will also win ten million dollars.
