Jack Warner back for eighth CFU term
PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC) – Powerful FIFA vice-president Austin ‘Jack’ Warner has been nominated unopposed for his eighth successive term in charge of the Caribbean Football Union.
Nominations for posts within CFU’s executive committee closed at 4:00 pm on Monday, with Warner and all the incumbent members being nominated unchallenged.
The CFU is the governing body for Caribbean football and comprises 30 member countries, all of whom compete in CONCACAF, the continental governing body for the North, Central American and Caribbean area.
