Fashion Saturday – January 22

From Frenchmen to Fiction, Susie’s to St Elizabeth, this week’s hottest looks come from a number of stylish femmes across the island. Enjoy!

Danielle Brown

A radiant Danielle Brown got the Fashion Saturday style nod for her simply chic romper, peep-toe heels and gold accessories when we spotted her at Fiction Wednesday last.

Fiction

Fashionable friends Paris Isaacs (left) and Juelz Harrison paired their solid black tops with prints for an urban-chic appeal as they partied at Brand New Machine last Wednesday.

Francine

The ever-fabulous Francine Haughton glowed in a silver satin romper and embellished sandals for the 40-fied birthday party, held in Parottee, Black River, last weekend.

Frenchmen

We’re loving Dr Tricia Smith’s Frenchmen ensemble, a super-cute little white dress, complete with oversized ruffles, strappy heeled sandals and teal accessories.

Frenchmen2

A multi-hued belted dress, complete with gold accessories and peep-toe boots was the look of choice for fashion designer Janelle Jolly as she started the year off in style at Frenchmen.

Susie’s Fashion

Hollanders Myers opted for a boho-chic with a belted handkerchief top, tie-dyed jeggings and gladiator thong sandals as she stopped by Mojito Mondays at Susie’s on the Terrace last week.

Sneaks & Sneaks-inset

Our Fashion Saturday team spotted style-savvy teen Tashna Evans rocking multicoloured ‘kicks’, skinny jeans, a messenger bag and a graphic T-shirt in Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth.

Sandals & Sandals-inset

A quick look at Meva McKnight and her daughter Karesha Desport revealed a shared love for stylish sandals. Meva sports beaded thong sandals while her three-year-old wore embellished gladiator sandals in hot pink.

Yoko 1& 2

Yoko Kelly’s Platinum Pixie

The Look:

A white-platinum pixie cut featuring a bouffant-inspired sweep in the front and a shaved back, elegantly accentuated with a black bow.

The Stylist:

Tosan of Hair Vybz beauty salon in Portmore.

The Verdict:

We love it! Yoko’s edgy platinum suits her complexion as well as her divalicious attitude. Plus the vintage-influenced hairstyle, complete with mini bow adds just the right touch of sophistication to the look.

Denesha 2& 3

Denesha Foster’s Tri-colour Look

Within minutes of meeting Denesha Foster it becomes apparent that she is passionate about her job, and rightly so, as the shy 23-year-old hairstylist is already highly skilled in the field (as is evidenced by the stylish tri-colour wig she wears, which she did not make, but styled herself). She freelanced with various salons before setting up her own three years ago, and now is creating chic styles for women of all ages.
