Fortune favours floundering Frome, finally
FROME, Westmoreland — Frome FC snapped a three-game winless streak by blanking Mt Pelier 2-0 in a rescheduled Jamaica Football Federation’s Captain’s Bakery and Grill Western Confederation Super League game at the Frome Sports Club on Thursday.
The win helped secure third place for the Westmoreland club as the first round draws to a close.
Neville Graham scored in the 33rd minute and Dillon Crooks got his third goal of the season in the 82nd as Frome won for the sixth time and improved to 20 points — four more than Mt Pelier who were losing for the third time in four games.
