Democracy

Dear Editor,

The fight for democracy which is taking place in the Middle East is a good sign. These days people want democracy. They want to choose their own government and to have opportunities for themselves and their families.

Nobody wants anyone to decide their destiny for them. I support peaceful demonstrations in countries which are not democratic so that they can enjoy the fruits of democracy.

The United States of America has been the chief advocate for democracy in the world. I guess they would support the transformation or wait for change by the people in the countries affected.
