Women Worldwide signs fashionface winner
Saint International has announced that only one week after copping victory at the FashionFace Of The Caribbean model contest, 16-year-old Dunoon Technical High student Venica Cordoza has been confirmed with the Women Management Worldwide.
“This is consistent with the impressive legacy of the FashionFace winners,” reported Saint CEO Deiwght Peters, “over the last four years, the winners have been signed on the spot unlike any other such competition,” he notes.
Jon Illani of Women Management Worldwide was one of the members of the judging panel which included top agencies such as IMG, Wilhelmina and Muse.
“Venica will be put on a fast track development programme by Women Direct in New York. This will involve creating her portfolio, wardrobe development and fashion industry skills,” Peters revealed.
“She is still in school so we will be working on her programme during the summer months until she graduates” Peters notes.
This placement puts Venica in good company as the Women Direct(New York) agency is part of a powerful international network that represents modern day supermodels such as Natasha Poly, Iris Strubegger, Jourdann Dunn who are all listed among the top 20 models in the world by models.com.
The woman legacy is validated by a distinguishable crop of timeless fashion supermodels such as Karen Elson, Angella Lindvall, Isabeli Fontana, Carmen Kass, and Maria Carla Boscono. Girls of Women dominate the world’s most exclusive catwalk from New York to Paris; populate the campaigns of the most discerning international design brands such as Givenchy, Prada, Armani, Yves St. Laurent and electrify the covers of the most influential magazines such as Vogue, V, POP, Bazaar, and Elle.
