Haddington move up in Hanover contest
LUCEA, Hanover — Haddington Youth Club moved into second place in the Hanover/Captain’s Bakery Major League after beating Galaxy, 2-1, on Sunday.
Conroy Reid scored a seconds half double for Haddington who scored their first victory of the season to move to four points, two behind leaders Super Star.
After a goalless first half, Reid opened the scoring in the 50th minute, but Deian Drysdale equalised for Galaxy four minutes later.
Reid, however, scored the winner late in the game, in the 80th minute.
Haughton Meadows and Lucea FC both scored their second successive draws after playing to a 1-1 scoreline.
Keino Williams scored for Haughton Meadows in the 67th, but Ramon Foster earned a point for Lucea FC when he scored in the 86th.
