Police raise threat level to extreme
THE Police High Command has raised the threat level against cops assigned in St Catherine to extreme.
The threat level was raised to extreme following the fatal shooting of a member of the notorious Spanish Town based Klansman gang earlier this week.
He has been identified as the brother of Joel Jennings otherwise called ‘JJ’.
Jennings, a high ranking member of the Spanish Town-based Klansman gang was fatally shot by the police early this year.
The police are aware that plans are being hatched to carry out violent attacks against members of the security forces soon.
Police report that over the past two days, criminal elements operating in St. Catherine carried out violent attempts on the lives of the police officers.
The Police High Command also warned cops to take steps necessary to protect themselves, their families and government property.
