Singer Barbie is currently in Jamaica promoting her latest offering — the completed video for Come See About Me, featuring US rapper Trina.

“Shot on location in Los Angeles, the video is clean, full of energy, overflowing with a glitzy wardrobe, beautiful bodies and a bit of passion,” a news release from her publicist says.

“The video shoot was a lot of fun,” Barbee recalled. “Trina was just fabulous, the dancers strutted their stuff and the leading man was a dream to work with. The video director is amazing and all the elements combined to produce a quality video that we can all be proud of.”

The video was officially premiered on CVM’s On Stage with Winford Williams last Saturday.

Response to Distant Love pleases Crisopolis

RPR Production recording artiste Crisopolis says he is pleased with the response to his single, Distant Love.

“Things are looking up. I have been getting a lot of positive feedback so far. I believe a major reggae label is even interested in the song,” Crisopolis said in a release. “The song hit number five on the CVM Hitlist recently, and that helped to give it even more exposure.”

He has a number of other singles such as Sieve Out and Step Inna The Place Ah Fire which have been getting a good buzz locally.

Beenie shoots Inna Di Go Go Club video at Taboo

International recording star Beenie Man has shot a video for his bouncy single, Inna Di Go Go Club as he steps up his marketing campaign for the competitive summer season.

The song is produced by 3-5-7 Records.

Shot on Monday night in the Taboo nightclub on the ground floor of the Quad nightclub, the video takes a literal view of the single, with several scantily-clad girls jiggling their assets for the cameras and showing off their ‘pole expertise’.

Directed by Janelle Dyer, the video also features cameos by former Portmore Empire singjay Jahvinci, deejay Don Skilachi and other local entertainment personalities.
