Digicel takes media farming
TELECOMS giant Digicel went all out to ensure members of the media had a whale of a time at Caymanas Stables in St Catherine on Saturday.
The moment you enter the venue you could tell it was going to be a ‘farming experience’ like no other.
Beautifully decorated with ‘farmers’ on hand to greet guests the fun began at “hello”.
There was no shortage of entertainment for guests — what with the various games to win prizes courtesy of Digicel.
The mechanical bull was not for the fainthearted, as it proved quite a challenge to stay aboard for 1 minute. Then there was more penalty kicks, bullseye.
Earlier in the evening Harmonies Mento Band set the crowd in a very relaxed mood with their sweet mento vibes.
Later on in the evening media personnel enjoyed a special treat when Jazzy T from Renaissance Disco pumped up some hot beats before taking a break to make way for live entertainment segment.
Digicel Rising Star contestant from 2006 Brushy One String was super cool as he sauntered on stage in his usual get-up. His hat and ‘cowboy style’ dressing. Guitar in hand, he was a delight to both watch and listen.
After that it was time for veteran deejay General Trees, whose stint on stage seemed too short as he held his audience captivated with humorous numbers such as Waan Dance Wid Mi Woman Again, Bible and Key and Mosquito Invasion (which he had to wheel and come again with!)
Frisco Kid who has not been seen on the local stage for sometime made up for that absence with some well known favourites such as Rubbers, Tiad Body Gal, Little and Cute among others.
After that it was more vibesy juggling from Jazzy T to put a cap on an evening of great fun and nuff party vibes.
