Port Royal Primary’s Debayo Ellis creates history
Debayo Ellis (3rd left), the highest achiever at Port Royal Primary School in this year’s GSAT exam, is presented with a scholarship cheque from the Port Royal Seafood Festival and JF Mills valued at $60,000 by Paula Blake (2nd right), sales manager, JF Mills, on June 30. Debayo, who got an overall score of 93 per cent, with a 98 per cent in Science, made history as the first GSAT student from Port Royal Primary who will be attending Wolmer’s Boys School. Sharing the occasion are Phillip Paulwell (left), member of Parliament for Kingston East and Port Royal; Rochelle Dorma, Debayo’s mom; Radio presenter and Port Royal Seafood Festival organiser Jennifer ‘Jenny Jenny’ Small; and Owen Speid, principal, Port Royal Primary.
