Proud father David Beckham

People Post

He said last week that he was learning to be more “delicate” with new daughter Harper Seven after having three sons with wife Victoria Beckham. But, in the first picture of the little girl posted by Victoria on Twitter, David couldn’t look any tenderer as he cradles his daughter.

Victoria posted the picture on her Twitter page with the caption: “Daddy’s little girl!” In the shot, David is seen touching noses with his little girl, who is wrapped up in a blanket and wearing a little hat. David then returned the favour by posting a photo of Victoria with Harper on his Facebook page, with the caption: “I took this picture of my two girls sleeping…” Victoria is seen with baby Harper resting on her chest as the pair enjoy a doze.

Recently, David showed his joy over the arrival of the pair’s first daughter when he took to the football pitch with Harper’s name stitched on his football boots. In addition to the names of his three sons with wife Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, the boots have now been embroidered with the name of the couple’s new daughter, Harper. Beckham also went for the colour pink for the boots to highlight his joy at having a little girl to add to his brood. Accompanying a picture of the boots on his Facebook site, Beckham wrote: “Check out my boots for the Real Madrid match. A little extra stitching needed from now on….” And despite the fact that LA Galaxy lost to Real Madrid 4-1, nothing could dampen Beckham’s spirits as he headed home after the match.

The Trump empire expands

Ivanka Trump has given birth to her first child. The 29-year-old daughter of property tycoon Donald Trump welcomed a baby girl in New York City last Sunday. The businesswoman and her husband Jared Kushner said they felt “blessed” to have had their daughter.

“This morning (Jared) and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world,” Ivanka posted on her Twitter page. We feel incredibly grateful and blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!” But Ivanka already has her sights on raising a child who will be exposed to all of the luxuries in the world as normal as possible. “We have our work cut out for us to ensure that our daughter is grounded and not spoiled,” the Celebrity Apprentice judge said. Ivanka had admitted she was terrified of going through labour and delivery and was thrilled to finally be holding her bundle of joy. She opened up to Harper’s Bazaar last May about her pregnancy.

“We both said we wanted to wait one year and just enjoy being newlyweds,” she told the magazine. “So we waited pretty much exactly that. Jared is ecstatic,” she added. “She’ll be a daddy’s girl. I have a feeling they are going to gang up on me.”

Is Khloe now the most enviable Kardashian sister?

Something strange has been occurring at the heart of the axis of power that is the Kardashian family for a while now. While Kim, 30, morphs humourlessly into a Bridezilla and 32-year-old Kourtney struggles with her tumultuous relationship, little sister Khloe has started to emerge as the new star of the triumvirate. The 27-year-old has it all, a happy marriage to LA Lakers forward Lamar Odom that began with relatively no-fuss nuptials.

The down-to-earth couple, who radiate genuine love towards one another in both Keeping Up With the Kardashians and their spin-off E! show Khloe and Lamar, are still as solid two years later. Recently they teamed up while he filmed a Nike commercial in New York.

Khloe, who seems to have found her look, stunned in thigh-high Louboutin boots. Her 6’10 tall husband didn’t look too shabby, either, despite it being the NBA off-season. Khloe took to her Twitter to express her excitement about the day’s filming, she wrote: “Who’s in NYC? My hubby will be filming a Nike commercial all day around the city and i’ll be watching from the side lines!” Before adding: “Seeing my man at work is amazing! I love watching him do his thing!” And we’re relying upon Khloe to bring a seam of humour to Kim’s deadly serious “I dreamt of this since I was a little girl” nuptials.

Khloe, who branded her big sister “Bridezilla” in the first place is already planning a “very embarrassing” penis-themed bachelorette party, she told People magazine. “Kim is very uncomfortable with all that stuff, so I’m going to go all-out and embarrass her, because it’s just fun.” Amen for that.
