J-LO and Marc Anthony call it quits
Jennifer Lopez is throwing herself into work following her shock separation from Marc Anthony, with whom she has twins Emme and Max, 3. Looking anguished and forlorn, she was spotted leaving MILK Studios in Hollywood Saturday last. Anthony, 42, is focusing on his career too — performing at a concert in Bogota, Colombia, over the weekend. While the news that the couple’s seven-year marriage had ended came as a shock to many fans, those close to the star reveal it was a long time coming. “This is not a surprise,” J-Lo’s stylist Phillip Bloch said in an exclusive interview with Mail on Sunday. “Marc is very controlling. In the beginning she liked that because he stood up to her, and in the early days he was very much in love with her and she was with him.” Lopez and Anthony began their relationship just three weeks after her very high-profile engagement to Ben Affleck was called off in January 2004. In June that same year, they said ‘I do’ in a secret ceremony at her lavish Beverly Hills home. At the time of their wedding, the ink was still drying from Anthony’s divorce from first wife, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres. Lopez had been married twice before; to restaurateur Ojani Noa, whom she split from in 1998, and to former backup dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003. Anthony has two sons Cristin, 10, and Ryan, 7, from his first marriage to Torres. He also has a teenage daughter, Arianna, from a previous relationship.

Rain On Her Parade
Duffy is being sued by her former manager Angela Becker for £200,000 — despite there being no contract to breach. Becker has taken the case to court in an attempt to secure outstanding royalties she claims she has not received. But the Rain On Your Parade singer has not signed on the dotted line and therefore is not legally bound to forfeit her money. Becker, who used to manage Madonna, took control of the 27-year-old’s business ventures in March 2010.While the pair failed to put pen to paper to mark their working relationship, Becker says their partnership was due to last until promotion of Duffy’s second album Endlessly, released last year, had been completed. But in December, the Grammy winner said she wanted to terminate their agreement. The Welsh songbird, real name Aimée Ann Duffy, shot to fame in 2008 when her debut album Rockferry rocketed to number one. Her first single Mercy also topped the charts, before she announced this February that she would take a break from music to concentrate on her third album. Becker and Duffy were both unavailable for comment last night.

Orlando Bloom Requests Epidural
For many soon-to-be fathers, watching their partners go through labour and feeling helpless is tormenting. Miranda Kerr has revealed that her husband Orlando Bloom came up with a novel way for him to be able to deal with seeing her in so much pain during the birth of their baby Flynn. As his wife had refused drugs, the actor suggested that he could perhaps have an epidural instead. In a revealing interview with Australian television programme Sunday Night, the supermodel discussed her previously revealed stance on having a natural birth. ‘I had made the decision to not have any drugs, no epidural, nothing,’ the 28-year-old said. ‘Each to their own. I’m crazy for doing that! A lot of my friends who have had epidurals have said, “Oh (labour) was so great”.’ Asked if her resolve wavered at any point during the labour, she admitted: ‘I remember looking at Orlando and saying “Oh honey.” ‘And he said, “Give me the epidural! Seriously, if you don’t want it I’ll take it because right now I’m dying watching you go through this pain”.’
“I didn’t realise (Flynn) was going to be such a big baby,” Bloom revealed.
