Trelawny face St James in Western Confed double header
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Fresh from their wins over Hanover, the Trelawny Under-13 and Under-15 teams will take on St James in a Western Confederation double header at the UDC field this afternoon.
Trelawny blanked Hanover 2-0 in the Under-13 and 10-0 in the Under-15 on Monday and will go after St James whose games against Westmoreland were postponed.
Also this afternoon, Hanover and Westmoreland will meet in two games at Watson-Taylor Park in Lucea.
On Monday, Hughgeorge Watson scored a second half hat-trick after Travis Taylor had scored a first half brace in Trelawny Under-15’s romp.
Watson scored in the 47th, 67th and 74th minutes, while Taylor had scored in the 20th and 27th minutes.
Chaddane Linton, Romaine Nelson, Jamar Scott, Shannery Brown and Akeem McGrath had also scored for Trelawny.
In the Under-13 game, Akeem Belford and Dejan Downer scored, once in either half for Trelawny in their win.
