Henry for Gaspari Nutrition IFPA Pro Classic
Jamaica’s decorated bodybuilder, 45-year-old Henry Graham, will take part in tonight’s Gaspari Nutrition IFPA Pro Classic at the Cape Cod Community College in Barnstable, Massachusetts, hoping to cash in on the US$18,000 in prize money.
Henry will enter the competition seeking to better his third-placed finish at the IFPA Pro Bowl in Richmond, Virginia last May. Cleveland Thomas of Florida and Will Usher Jr of DC placed first and second, respectively, to walk away with US$2,000 and US$1,000.
“I think I should have won,” said Graham, a personal physical trainer.
Apart from Men’s Pro Bodybuilding, competition will also take place in Women’s Pro Bodybuilding and Pro Figure.
Since switching to the International Fitness and Physique Association (IFPA) in 2009, Henry’s muscles have become well-defined and well-proportioned.
“I will retire in five years at the age of 50 and by then I hope to start a business,” added Graham.
While competing for the IFBBFA (International Federation of Body Building and Fitness Association) since the 1980s, Henry was Mr Jamaica five times and was Central American and Caribbean Mr Heavyweight in 2006.
He took a break from competition for three years before turning to the natural bodybuilding of IFPA.
