Man-U star Ashley Young’s confirms reunion with girlfriend after calling off wedding

He sensationally called off his wedding to his childhood sweetheart just two days before the £200,000 ceremony. But Ashley Young has reunited with the mother of his two children Nicky Pike. And what better way for a Manchester United star to confirm a romance than to step out on the red carpet with her. The 26-year-old took his family to Disney On Ice at the 02 Arena in Greenwich, London Thursday last. His children Tyler, five, and Ellearna, two, looked none-the-wiser as they smiled happily for the cameras with their parents. The couple had been due to marry at five-star The Grove hotel and spa near Watford, Herfordshire in June. When asked on the doorstep of their £1.5-million home, Nicky, 26, confirmed that guests had been told not to turn up. The pair had been together for about 10 years, first dating when they were still at school. They were also seen grocery shopping together in Wilmslow, Cheshire last week, sparking speculation they were back together.

Beyonce and Jay Z to build mammoth nursery for their baby

As the US’s highest-earning celebrity couple you would expect Beyoncé and Jay Z to drop a few dollars on their unborn baby. But the power couple is reportedly going all out when it comes to preparations for the birth, by building a huge nursery at their TriBeCa apartment. According to Us Weekly, the doting parents-to-be “will have a nursery that is 2,200 square feet.” But despite the extravagant plans, several people close to the couple are not too enthusiastic about the giant baby facilities. “Some people are like, won’t you be scared to leave your baby in that huge room?,” an insider told the magazine. Despite the scepticism from her friends, the former Destiny’s Child star is excited for the next phase in her life and is enjoying her pregnancy. “It’s going really well, I am so happy with everything right now,” the 30-year-old said recently.

Aretha Franklin looks slimmer than ever as she continues weight loss

She’s never been the smallest of women. But as Aretha Franklin took to the stage in Nashville Wednesday last, she stunned fans with her incredible new figure after losing an astonishing amount of weight. While the 69-year-old singer kept her frame hidden under a white kaftan-style dress, the difference in her size was clear to see as she belted out some of her most famous songs. With something of a Diana Ross look about her, Franklin appeared happy and confident as she performed for fans at the Ryman Auditorium. Aretha’s new look comes after reports earlier this year that she was suffering from a serious health issue. The Chain of Fools singer was reported to have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer — claims the star denied. However, she did undergo an unidentified surgery last December and she had cancelled concerts and personal appearances up until May. Her more transformed physique has now promoted rumours she underwent gastric bypass surgery. “That is crazy,” she said. ” It definitely was not the bariatric or, what is it, gastric… Yeah, I can’t even tell you the correct name of it.”
