TEENChef yesterday

Born out of a desire by Gavin Plowright to learn how to cook, TEENChef was created using simple recipes and has slowly built his skill set to more complicated recipes. In the first months, he teamed up with Juneau Williams, a TEENager entering college, who also wanted to know her way around a kitchen.

Plowright is a second-year Computer Science student at University of Technology.

Williams is a second-year student at University of Technology pursuing a degree in chemistry and mathematics at the same institution.

TEENChef today

Chef Karl Thomas joined the duo of Plowright and Williams in September to push forward the dream of making TEENChef a household name.

Thomas’s addition has made a great impact on what readers see when TEENChef is published each week. He is an executive chef and also wears the hat of a teacher as he willingly detail the technicalities of culinary arts and gives the team opportunities to experience cooking at his level.

He is TEENChef’s expert consultant.
