Hellshire, Westchester in Portmore Div II final
Hellshire United meet Westchester in the LIME/Portmore Division Two final this afternoon at Passage Fort at 3:00 pm.
Hellshire, fresh from their win in the Colin Fagan Knock-Out last Sunday, will be seeking their second trophy of the season, as well as attempt to advance to the St Catherine FA Division Two competition next season.
Manager of Hellshire, Colin Walters, told the Sunday Observer he was praying for his team to advance to the Division One competition.
Meanwhile, Westchester’s Kurtis McKenzie said he will not be taking Hellshire lightly although they had defeated them in one game and drew another prior to reaching the final.
Hellshire United and Westchester FC secured their places into the final by defeating East Portmore Portals and Westport, respectively, in the two-way semi-finals.
Eight teams participated in the competition. Westchester topped the table with 29 points. Hellshire followed with 24, while East Portmore Portals and Westport gained 22 each; Daytona 18; Braeton 17; Bridgeport 11 and Garveymeade six points.
