Applications open for Reggae Boyz head coach position — JFF
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has officially opened applications for the position of head coach of the Reggae Boyz, the country’s senior men’s national football team.
In a post to multiple social platforms on Thursday, the federation announced that qualified candidates are invited to apply for the role.
The vacancy comes after Jamaica’s unsuccessful 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, which saw then-head coach Steve McClaren resign in November 2025.
Following his departure, Rudolph Speid was appointed interim head coach.
JFF President Michael Ricketts told the Jamaica Observer in March that he was impressed by the performances of Speid and assistant coach Miguel Coley during their four-month tenure and was interested in retaining the pair on a long-term basis.
Interested candidates should submit their applications by June 30, 2026.
