KINGSTON, Jamaica —Dancehall artiste Armanii and popular producer Weekday are celebrating the rapid global rise of their single, Property Tax.

The track has already charted in scores of countries and territories, with strong traction across the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America.

Property Tax has appeared on charts in Gambia, Bermuda, Grenada, Antigua & Barbuda, Qatar, Saint Kitts & Nevis, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the British Virgin Islands, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, Liberia, Dominica, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos Islands, The Bahamas, Belize, Saint Lucia, the Cayman Islands, Anguilla, Latvia, Canada, Venezuela, Slovenia, the United States, Croatia, Barbados, Slovakia, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Rwanda, Finland, China, the Netherlands, Thailand, Cape Verde, Greece, Guyana, and Kazakhstan.

Producer Jahvanie “Weekday” Morrison described the creative process as both focused and enjoyable.

“It was a great experience. While working alongside him you can see that he takes his craft very seriously, and takes time to ensure it’s perfect. Was a good vibes putting this project together,” he said.

The record came together quickly. “It took about a week from recording to mixing and mastering to get everything finished,” Weekday noted.

Looking ahead, the producer expressed high expectations for the song’s lasting impact.

“My hopes are that this song will become one of those column songs in dancehall that has to get played. The world is gravitating to it already so I’m grateful for that. It’s already a hit and trending in over 50 countries worldwide,” Weekday said.
