They could be sisters!
She may be her mother and 21 years older than her, but Lisa Bonet looked more like her daughter Zoe Kravitz’s sister last week. The Cosby Show star looked nowhere near her 44 years as she attended a Chanel event celebrating designer Karl Lagerfeld’s photo book The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited. Mother and daughter walked the red carpet and held hands, and it was hard to tell them apart with their striking similar features. And while Zoe was the epitome of elegance in a black and white leather strapless Chanel dress paired with a super- chic new short haircut, mum Lisa went for more grungy attire, consisting of a white lace dress, crochet shawl and clunky black men’s boots. Zoe, 23, clearly has had a change of heart regarding her fashion choices. Only last month the X-Men: First Class actress told Nylon Magazine: “I feel like everyone thinks that everyone should look the same — clean cut. If I go to a party and my hair’s messy and my shirt’s ripped or whatever, it’s like, ‘She’s a crackhead.’ I’m like, “Do I have to look like a f– perfect Barbie doll?” Also going for a grungy vibe at the event like her mother, was Zoe’s boyfriend and Gossip Girl actor Penn Badgley, who was sporting a beard and a dirty pair of shoes that were missing the laces. The pair, who has been dating since July of last year, has been linked to fellow actors in the past, with Penn dating his Gossip Girl co-star Blake Lively and Zoe enjoying a romance with fellow X-Men: First Class actor Michael Fassbender.

Katy Perry steps out with Florence guitarist for second night
Most people are walking on cloud nine when they rekindle an old romance, but not Katy Perry. The 27-year-old actress looked pretty miserable as she went for dinner with Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd in London last week. The famous pair — who enjoyed a brief Spring romance, put their relationship on hold in May but have clearly decided to get back together again. Perhaps Katy was just feeling camera shy, or maybe she just didn’t want the public to see her with the musician, but either way she didn’t crack a smile as she walked behind him along the street. Wearing a vintage-looking cream dress that featured a giant black bow on the collar and a frilled skirt, Katy’s glum look was a far cry from the one she modelled earlier on in the day when she appeared on the Graham Norton Show. Sitting alongside Cheryl Cole and comedian Ross Noble, the Teenage Dream singer couldn’t keep the smile off her face as she fooled around with the Girls Aloud star on the sofa. But despite looking happy then miserable, Katy informed her fans that she was enjoying her time in the Capital by tweeting: “Had tons o’ fun in London today at a surprise screening…Wish I could sit w/ all of u when u see #KP3D”

President Obama meets Hollywood’s next generation of movie stars
He has no aspirations to make a move from the White House onto the big screen, but was rubbing shoulders with future stars, recently. President Barack Obama took time out of his busy schedule to meet with the next generation of Hollywood’s power movers – and potential donors. The 50-year-old greeted 25 actors at a private and impromptu meeting at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills where he had been staying. The list of big names included some already established stars such as Jessica Alba, Zach Braff and Jared Leto. However, other rising thespians like Zachary Quinto and Dianna Agron also joined the distinguished room of talent. Dianna, 26, who is most famous for playing Quinn Fabray on the television series Glee, tweeted about her early-morning rendezvous with the special speaker. She said: “Maybe the only man I truly get nervous around. Worth the early wake-up call. @BarackObama”. Fantastic Four star Jessica Alba, 31, was also waxing lyrical about the 44th President and said: “Got up bright & early to hear @BarackObama speak w an awesome group #YoungAmerChat”. Obama chatted to the room about his re-election campaign and urged them to use their influence to help keep him in the White House for another four years.
