Phillips, Parchment to push for hurdles sprint final

KINGSTON, Jamaica- Richard Phillips will be the first Jamaican on the track today as he vies for a spot in the men’s 110m hurdles final.

Phillips will run out of lane one in semi final 2, with a personal best of 13.39 and a season’s best of 13.43 seconds.

Hansle Parchemnt will then compete in semi final three, out of lane 5. His personal best is 13.18.

Outgoing Olympic champion Liu Xiang is currently out of the Olympic Games after crashing into the first hurdle during the heats, failing to qualify.
