Vacae Weekend 2026 kicks off with high-energy ‘The Lawn’ experience
ST ANN, Jamaica — Vacae Weekend 2026 officially got underway with a vibrant staging of The Lawn, setting the tone for what promises to be an electrifying Easter weekend in Ocho Rios.
Powered by Wray & Nephew, the opening event delivered a high-energy experience that saw patrons dressed in signature yellow, creating a striking visual spectacle inside Plantation Cove.
From early in the evening, the atmosphere was charged with music, energy and anticipation as revellers from across Jamaica and overseas gathered to kick-start the weekend’s festivities. The combination of premium food and beverage offerings and top-tier DJs such as Di Unit Sound, Dj Mindless, and Dj Bankda & Poppi created an experience that lived up to expectations.

Organisers say The Lawn played a critical role in setting the pace for the Vacae Weekend series, serving as the official opener for a lineup of six events across four days.
“The Lawn is always about energy and setting the tone,” Andrew Ellis, chief executive officer (CEO) of Twenty14 Ltd, shared. “It’s the moment where everything begins, and the response this year has been tremendous.”
The weekend continues with a series of signature events, including Pic-Nic, Tropical Saturday, Estate All White Soiree, Risqué, and the grand finale, Sandz Caribbean Music Festival.
