Tech 5

WE know you’ve been waiting, so here’s this week’s edition of games out!

Angry Birds Trilogy

Console: X360 PS3 3DS

Release Date: Sep 25, 2012

ESRB: E

The Angry Birds phenomenon that has rocked the world is incredible. But just when you thought it couldn’t get any angrier than that Rovio and Activision proves us wrong with the Angry Birds Trilogy.

The game is said to be a combination of the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons, and will have features unique for each of it’s new platforms. In addition to standard controls, Angry Birds Trilogy will support Microsoft Kinect, Playstation Move, and the Nintendo 3DS’ StreetPass function. In all three cases, players will be able to turn off the additional functionality. The trilogy will also offer new cinematics, extras, animated and reactive backgrounds and different lightning modes.

Bad Piggies

Console: Android, IP, PC, MAC, WINM, WEB

Release Date: Sep 27, 2012

ESRB: E

Rovio is definitely hard at work. Shortly after the Angry Birds Trilogy release they give us Bad Piggies.

Before you assume what this is about, it has nothing to do with the birds. In fact this games is all about the piggies.

For all of you that sympathise with them and their need for eggs. The game has follows the imagination of a single pig with freckles, whose hobbies are constructing both land and air-based vehicles.

In this game you can make them run, fly, bounce, and is generally for those creative builders out there. You help them get to the bird’s eggs with whatever contraption you build. Although the game doesn’t have as many features as the Angry Birds Trilogy, it certainly gives us insight into the piggies’ side of the story.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria

Fifa Soccer 13

Consoles: X360, PC, PS3, WIIU, Wii, 3DS, VITA, IP, PS2, PSP

Release date: Sep 25, 2012

ESRB: E

A football/Soccer fan’s manna, FIFA 13 is the twentieth edition of Electronic Arts’ football FIFA video game series.

It is developed by EA Canada studios and will be published, worldwide, by Electronic Arts, under the EA Sports label. According to EA, Sports FIFA 13 captures all the drama and unpredictability of real world soccer. FIFA 13 has introduced completely new features to the franchise such as first-touch control.

A vamped up attacking intelligence as well as complete dribbling, are also two of the new features that FIFA 13 boasts. Unlike its predecessors, FIFA 13 supports PlayStation Move and Kinect controllers and as you can see those aren’t the only two platforms that you can get this game for, FIFA 13 is available for just about every console there is. We could go on and on about how amazing this game is, but we don’t want to ruin all the surprises EA Sports has planned for you eager Soccer fans.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors

Console: PS3

Release date: Sep 25, 2012

ESRB: T

One Piece: Pirate Warriors is an action video game developed by Tecmo Koei and published by Namco Bandai for the PlayStation 3.

The game was developed in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the One Piece manga and anime franchise by Eiichiro Oda, and is the first of it’s kind to be outed on the PS3. Pirate Warriors follows the adventures of Monkey D Luffy.

It incorporates elements from both the Dynasty Warriors series and the One Piece series. In the Main Log, players are allowed to play through the storyline in Story mode. Use Luffy to play through the events of the One Piece series in adventure mode and use characters in combat in battle mode. In Another Log, the player can play through a character’s storyline and with it are several stories exclusive to the game. Unlike many other games One Piece: Pirate Warriors is faithful to the original game experience.
