Body found in Portmore gully
INVESTIGATORS from the Major Investigation Taskforce yesterday commenced an investigation into the murder of a man, whose body was found in a gully in Portmore, St Catherine.
According to the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN), residents stumbled upon the body of 24-year-old Sarvan Morrison about 9:00 am yesterday. The body was found sprawled in a gully in Old Braeton with multiple stab wounds.
“Investigators were called to the scene this morning but they suspect that he might have been killed around 8:00 Saturday night,” said an officer at CCN. His body was taken for post-mortem.
Morrison, the police said, was a resident of Hellshire Drive in Old Braeton, St Catherine, and was unemployed.
