Trelawny Football Association office robbed
FALMOUTH, Trelawny – Operations at the Cornwall Street offices of the Trelawny Football Association (TFA) has been temporarily interrupted after thieves stole items valued at over $60,000 last night.
Marlene Brown, an executive with the TFA told the Observer this morning, that this was the second attempt to break into the offices in days, as an earlier attempt failed.
“They tried to break in a few days ago but had no luck but they came back last night and gained entry through a window,” Brown said.
She added that, so far, they have missed a computer monitor, a camera and several other pieces of equipment but said they were unsure of exactly what was missing as the police were still conducting investigations.
