Boyz drop to 58 in FIFA ranking
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz have suffered another tumble in the latest FIFA rankings.
Football’s governing body has ranked the team 58th, down two spots from their position just a month ago.
The Boyz climbed into the top 50 in November after qualifying for the final round of the CONCACAF tournament but performed miserably in the CFU Caribbean Championship in December which saw them slipping to 56th.
They were the defending champions in the regional tournament.
Spain is still ranked first while Germany, Argentina, Italy and Colombia complete the unchanged top five.
Many times world champions Brazil are ranked 18th.
