1. Amidst controversy and a public outcry by some African American groups, the action-figure line of the movie Django Unchained, has been shelved indefinitely. The groups argued against the release due to characters from the film, such as slaves and slave owners, being sold as toys.
2. Ludacris continues the expansion of his Soul Electronics Company, with the signing of popular NFL player Tim Tebow. Tebow will have his own line of headphones in short order. Usain Bolt also has his own line of Soul Electronics headphones.
3. Dual protégé of Pharrell Williams and Jermaine Dupri, Leah LaBelle, has released a new single entitled Lolita.
4. Rapper and reality television star Joe Budden, has remixed his popular Tank assisted single She Don’t Put It Down, with the addition of Twista and Fabolous.
5. Tamar Braxton dropped the long awaited video for her breakout single Love & War.
