1. Oprah Winfrey’s OWN, continues to steadily improve from its initial ratings slump as her tell-all interview with former cyclist Lance Armstrong clocked an impressive 3.2-million viewers. This is the second-highest ratings for OWN, as her interview with members of the late Whitney Houston’s family last March, drew in 3.5-million viewers.

2. Alicia Keys dropped Brand New Me Part 2 — the second installation of her current inspirational number — with the new version splashed with Crystal Waters’ 1991 cult classic Gypsy Woman.

3. Will.I.Am has remixed Scream & Shout, his current chart climber with Britney Spears. The remix has a new instrumental courtesy of producer-rapper Hit-Boy, and also features Lil’ Wayne, Waka Flocka, and Diddy.

4. A$AP Rocky defied the odds after his debut album Long. Live. A$AP leaked a month ago. He was still able to top the Billboard Charts during its official release week, January 15-22. The set sold an impressive 140,000 copies for this period.
