AS early as 6:00 am and as late as 10:00 am the friendly and courteous staff at KFC Springs Plaza are willing to serve you with your first meal of the day with a genuine smile.

TEEN Chef was greeted by cashier, Ingrid Wakefield, who directed us to Branch Manager Caroline Rowe. Collaboratively, they took us through the tasty experience of sampling KFC’s breakfast menu which consisted of various choices to satisfy every taste bud.

AM FILLER: A suitably sized bowl housing a combination of perfectly scrambled egg and a choice of either popcorn chicken or sausages with grated cheese over the serving. This comes with a side order of golden hash browns.

AM RISER: KFC has put a wonderful twist on their traditional biscuit by adding eggs and cheese. There is a choice of crispy strips of bacon or perfectly cooked sausages with a slight spicy flavour both of which pair well with the melted cheese and egg sandwiched comfortably between the warm, light and fluffy biscuit for which KFC is well known.

AM LOADER: With a toast made from the traditional hard dough white bread, KFC prepares the perfect breakfast sandwich. Again with the choice of bacon or sausages stacked with eggs and melted cheese, this sandwich can truly be put to the test as you can have it on the run. This warm and tasty sandwich fits quite comfortably in the palm of the hand and can be enjoyed with a cold cup of orange juice.

AM WRAP: Snuggled inside a tortilla wrap one will find a delicious serving of ackee and saltfish — with an excellent ackee to saltfish ratio — guarded with ripe fried plantains throughout. If not a lover of ackee and saltfish, there is the option of bacon or sausages tucked in with scrambled eggs and tasting just as delicious.

All breakfast combos are offered with a choice of cold natural orange juice or freshly brewed coffee and, with the exception of the am Filler, which is only served with hash browns, all other combos are provided with a side option of hash browns or fried ripe plantains.

SWEET TREAT: Reward your sweet tooth with a cinnamon muffin with milky icing drizzled over it to add a unique and satisfying taste.

Any item off KFC’s AM menu is suitable enough to treat those taste buds in the morning just before heading into the office or indulging in your early activities.
